This year Rusty will continue its commitment to junior surfing in Indonesia by holding a three part Gromfest Series in conjunction with the 2008 Coco-Cola ISC Junior Tour.
The Rusty Gromfest Series will provide an opportunity for young surfers to develop their competitive skills in some of Bali's most coveted waves. It will commence at Keramas on February 8th, followed one month later by an event at Pererenan on March 8th, then will culminate at 'Halfway' Kuta Beach on April 5th.
The overall under 16 division winner will be awarded a chance to compete against the best international junior surfers at the 14th annual Rusty Gromfest held at Lennox Head, Australia in July 2008. This event has enjoyed a rich history that has seen the likes of Mick Fanning, Bede Durbidge, and Julian Wilson crowned as champions.
